I suppose this might be obvious for 99% of people out there, but hey, here's a polite reminder that your chosen form of expression is not the only "real" form of expression. There is is not some sort of hierarchy where some things are arty, some things are art, and some things are artiest. Art is art to the people who make it and the people who view it - and if you don't like it, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and walk away. Creating drama because you think that your art is arter than other art is obnoxious. You just look like a douchebag who is incapable of appreciating the expression of art outside your narrow, maladjusted world view

Nothing major, but "minor surgery" really doesn't describe what these past few days have been like. I was in the OR for over two hours, I had allergic reactions to everything (tape, staples, the freaking instruments), they removed an ovarian cyst and my appendix, and they're still not sure exactly what's going on. I don't do pain medication, not even advil normally, and I'm taking narcotics every 4 hours just to get through the day. So my art is sort of on hold because it hurts to sit... I'm on my phone if you see me online. Also I still have no house because real estate agents are slimy and trying to scam little old ladies. And everything
